 Government Documents

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​It is a service of delivering all government documents to the national address of the customer by the distribution team of Wasel service. To get the service of document delivery via Saudi Post, the customer should previously register in the National Address.


  • Register the unified national address and activate it at Saudi Post.
  • The address is automatically viewed in Absher system, after an hour from the process of registration completion.
  • Register in Absher, the portal of the Ministry of Interior, and activate the account via the nearest passport branch.
  • Select the way of receiving the document via Absher website and choose delivery through Saudi Post.
  • Select the national address in case the client has more than one address.
  • An invoice is issued and sent via an SMS message to the customer's mobile phone to pay postages.
  • The postages are paid via SADAD service through local banks.
  • The document is delivered to the address of the customer via Wasel service. The old document is received from the customer.​​

  • The document is delivered to the address of the customer within (3-5) working days.
  • If the customer does not respond, the document will be sent back to its source. The Post will be entitled to the service charges that were collected in advance and cannot be paid back.​

  • All kinds of expatriate residence documents.
  • Issuance of new Saudi Passport.
  • Driving license and vehicles registration. (The time of launching the service will be soon announced)​

  • As soon as the customer uses the service of document delivery via Saudi Post, the customer is deemed to agree to and acknowledge these terms and conditions.
  • The customer's use of the document delivery service is deemed to be an authorization for Saudi Post to complete the procedures of delivering the documents to his address.
  • The customer should use the document delivery service as per the systems and instructions of service implementation conditions of procuring or renewing all documents under the systems and directives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • The customer holds all the regulatory and legal accountability if he misuses the service. As soon as the customer selects the service of document delivery to the specified address in the service request, he is obliged to pay all the service charges and they cannot be paid back.
  • The document delivery request cannot be cancelled, noting that the request is automatically cancelled in case the charges are not paid within 14 days as of the date of request.
  • The customer is not entitled to receive the document at the passport offices in case of requesting it to be delivered via the post. In case of contravention of this, the followed procedure in the sector shall be applied and the customer shall not be entitled to claim any paid charges.
  • The document shall be delivered to the chosen address. The customer shall hand over the old documents if the service requires such procedure as per the ministry directives.
  • The document shall be handed over only to its owner, the guarantor, or those who have legitimate power of attorney from the principal guarantor or the institution denoting reference to the receipt of the documents on behalf of the individual or institution guarantor.
  • The customer can trace the document delivery service via the Track and Trace system on the Saudi Post website.
  • Saudi Post delivers the documents to the customer within (3-5) working days.
  • If the customer does not respond during the maximum period of only (72) hours, the document shall be sent back to its source The Post shall be entitled to the service charges that were collected in advance and cannot be paid back.
  • The Saudi Post shall not be held accountable for any delay for any reasons related to flights, shipping lines, or official directives.
  • Saudi Post is deemed responsible for the documents as of the date of receiving them from the Ministry.
  • Saudi Post is entitled to amend, at its absolute discretion, the service fees and the adopted method of fees and charges payment as he deems necessary.
  • If there is a delay due to the Ministry procedures or other regulatory reasons, Saudi Post shall not be held responsible for such delay. If required, the customer shall be responsible for following up such procedures.
  • The compensation mechanism is subject to the approved regulations and systems of Saudi Post and the procedures agreed with the Ministry.
  • In case the customer disapproves of the delivery procedures or during them, a report should be promptly filed within 12 hours.
  • Saudi Post shall not be held responsible for documents loss, delay or damage, if the data and information of the customer is incomplete and the customer does not inquire about the document within fifteen days as of the date of notifying him of the document receipt from the Ministry, provided that the inquiry is via the official channels of Saudi Post.
  • The Responsibility of Saudi Post ends with the customer's receipt of documents without reservations or disapprovals.
  • Saudi Post shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay due to force majeure, except within the limits provided by these terms and conditions.
  • Saudi Post shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, expenses or costs of any kind suffered or incurred by the customer due to any breach of or unfamiliarity with these terms and conditions.
  • These terms and conditions and the interpretations thereof are subject to the applicable systems and laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute over them shall be settled amicably or referred to the competent judicial authority, the Board of Grievances.​
